In North America, households have relied on a separate system: air conditioners for cooling, gas furnaces for heating, and gas water heaters for hot water supply.
In recent years, discussions around gas bans have intensified across the US. At the same time, the U.S. American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act has introduced new regulations: starting January 1st, 2025, newly manufactured residential and light commercial air conditioning equipment is prohibited from using refrigerants with a GWP of 750 or higher. American families need to find a new, future-proof home comfort solution.
Just when customers need it most, Hisense HVAC introduces the Hi-Comfort VRF system designed for the North American market. By integrating cooling, heating, and domestic hot water into one system, and using eco-friendly refrigerant R32, Hi-Comfort creatively unifies household energy use — ensuring year-round comfort with greater efficiency and lower cost.
Responding rapidly to shifting needs with innovative, comprehensive solutions — that's how Hisense HVAC demonstrates its commitment to customer care.

In Southern Europe, Spain experiences scorching summers, yet the household air conditioning penetration rate remains only around 40%. One reason is that people often face a problem when trying to install an outdoor unit — under local property laws, any modification to apartment building facades or rooftops requires unanimous approval from all residents. In certain areas, especially those with historic architecture, any visual alteration to the building envelope can lead to fines and forced removal.
Hisense HVAC introduced the Hi-Smart i for precisely this situation. It allows the outdoor unit to be installed indoors, avoiding any disruption to the building's aesthetic. At the same time, its easy transport and installation, along with flexible piping design, meet the unique needs of these regions.
Obstacles may be many, but everyone deserves to enjoy better air. Guided by this belief, Hisense HVAC never stops serving and exploring all over the world.
